1. About Us
TempeWala is a brand of Sun & Life Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U55101KA2017PTC094817), based at Station 99, Ejipura, Bangalore. We are a 100% plant-based, vegan fermented-food company crafting tempeh, kripik chips, pickles, and other probiotic foods.
2. Use of This Site
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses or other malicious material, attempting unauthorised access to our systems, or using the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
3. Product and Pricing Accuracy
We work hard to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices on this site are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing or listing error on an order you’ve placed, we will contact you before processing, and you may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. Because our tempeh and fermented products are handmade in small batches, appearance may vary slightly from photos.
4. Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed only once we confirm and dispatch it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, in cases of product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Orders can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch; see our Refund and Returns Policy for details. We dispatch same-day for orders placed before our 3 PM IST cutoff.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Fresh, cold-chain tempeh is delivered via temperature-controlled (icebox) logistics and may not be available in all serviceable areas. Dehydrated products such as Kripik Chips and Tempeh Bites ship via standard courier across India. Free shipping applies on orders above ₹1,500. Delivery estimates are indicative and may vary due to courier or weather delays.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including our logo, product names, photography, recipes, and written content — is the property of Sun & Life Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission.
7. Tempeh Tribe and Tokens
Tempeh Tokens earned through our Tribe programme have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may expire or be adjusted at our discretion. Full details are available on our Tempeh Tribe page.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, TempeWala and Sun & Life Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or our products, beyond the value of the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under Indian law that cannot be excluded.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
