The chips your macros have been waiting for
Kripik is what Indonesia has done with tempeh for generations: slice the fermented soybean cake wafer-thin and crisp it. TempeWala makes India’s original kripik tempeh chips — 19–20g of complete protein per 100g, six flavours, no preservatives, couriered to every pincode in the country.
Six flavours, one obsession
- Salt & Pepper — the purist’s kripik; 19g protein/100g.
- Pink Salt — clean, mineral, snackable; 19g protein/100g.
- Chilli Garlic — the bestseller’s bestseller; 19g protein/100g.
- Peri Peri — the loudest of the six; 20.2g protein/100g.
- Chipotle — smoky, dark, dangerously moreish; 19g protein/100g.
- Jamaican Jerk — allspice heat, island energy; 19g protein/100g.
Chips vs chips: the honest comparison
Potato chips average 6–7g of incomplete protein per 100g and little else. Kripik tempeh chips carry roughly three times the protein — and it is complete protein from fermented whole soybeans, with fibre riding along. Against protein bars, kripik wins on ingredient list length; against namkeen, it is not even close.
How kripik is made
We ferment whole non-GMO soybeans into tempeh at India’s first dedicated tempeh facility in Bangalore, slice the cake thin, and crisp it in small batches with each flavour’s spice blend. No preservatives at any step — the low-moisture crisp is what gives it a 6-month sealed shelf life.
