Fermented food is alive, and freshness matters. Here’s exactly how returns, refunds, and cancellations work at TempeWala — simple and fair, both ways.
Because our tempeh, kripik, pickles, and other fermented products are fresh food, we cannot accept returns of opened or consumed products for hygiene and safety reasons. If something arrives damaged, spoiled, spilled, or not as described, we will replace it or refund it in full — no questions asked.
Email us at official@tempewala.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order number and a photo of the issue, within the window above. We aim to respond within 24 hours and resolve most claims within 3-5 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5-7 business days. For orders paid with Tempeh Tokens, tokens used are credited back to your Tribe account.
Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they’re dispatched. Since we dispatch same-day for orders placed before our 3 PM IST cutoff, please reach out as soon as possible if you need to cancel — once an order has shipped (especially cold-chain fresh tempeh), it cannot be cancelled or recalled.
Gift cards, subscription tokens, and any product explicitly marked non-returnable at checkout are not eligible for refund once dispatched.
